Russia's grain exports to China triple in January–September
MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- Russia's grain exports to China more than tripled on the year in January–September, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight said in a statement on Thursday.
"Exports of Russian grain products from Russia to China more than tripled since the start of 2023 as compared with the same period of 2022 and exceeds the figure for the entire 2022 by 85%. The People's Republic of China is one of the top five importers of Russian grain," the statement read.
Soybeans, peas, corn, flax seeds, rapeseed, barley and oats accounted for the bulk of exports. The main growth drivers were rapeseed, barley, flax seeds, seed meal, and peas.
